  • A successful start to the trade show season at CMT 2023
  • High visitor numbers, a great deal of interest, plenty of buyers
  • Knaus Tabbert innovations are on everyone’s lips
  • An extensive exhibition area for Knaus Tabbert in Hall 10

Jandelsbrunn/Stuttgart, January 2023. Knaus Tabbert has had an excellent start to 2023. The brands of a leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles showed off the whole range of their extensive offerings at their huge exhibition area in Hall 10 of CMT in Stuttgart and enthralled countless visitors with their innovations. These included the KNAUS TOURER CUV, a super‐compact, extremely versatile motorhome based on the Volkswagen T6.1, and the futuristic KNAUS AZUR caravan.

After hosting 265,000 visitors, the trade show shut its doors on 22 January 2023 and the results were clear. „As one of the leading trade shows in the sector, we see CMT as an important bellwether for the start of the trade show season,‟ said Wolfgang Speck, who has been successfully leading Knaus Tabbert as its CEO since 2013. Commenting on the first major trade show of the season, he said: „Here in Stuttgart, we have the ideal conditions for discussions with our end customers.‟ The best proof of this could be found in the many successful conversations that were had with a large number of prospective customers and buyers.

Gerd Adamietzki, Chief Sales Officer at Knaus Tabbert, was also positive: „Our large number of vehicles and innovations have inspired visitors. We are thrilled.‟ After three years of the pandemic and therefore CMT being cancelled twice, the trade show made an impressive comeback — despite the pervasive global crisis. „Visitor numbers have exceeded our expectations. Overall, our experience at the trade show has been positive and the dealers are content,‟ said Adamietzki.

For Knaus Tabbert and the large number visitors, one particular experience was key: appreciating that there is simply no substitute for face‐to‐face conversations and exploring the vehicles in person on site. As a major tourism and leisure trade show open to the public, CMT has served as a forum and an exciting and varied start to this year’s season of trade shows. And there is plenty to come from Knaus Tabbert too, as it has already announced more exciting product innovations for later this year.
