Young entrepreneurs meet at MORELO

Schlüsselfeld, April 19/20, 2023. The young entrepreneurs enter the fifth round and meet for the first time this year for the workshop at MORELO. That MORELO was of particular interest to the participants was quickly reflected by the registration numbers. With a total of 23 young entrepreneurs registered, it was the most attended event to date. On behalf of Knaus Tabbert, Bernhard Möller (Head of Sales and Dealer Network Development),  Max Recke (Deputy Head of Marketing) and Philipp Kasparak (Dealer Network Development) took part.

The event started with a joint get‐together and a midday snack on Wednesday at noon. After a short introduction by Philipp Kasparak and a welcome round, Robert Crispens (Managing Director MORELO) presented the development of MORELO since its foundation in 2010. Particularly impressive for the participants here was the rapid development of MORELO, which today is the market leader in the luxury motorhome segment. This was followed by a two‐hour workshop on „Selling with Emotions“ by the Screen training agency, which was conducted by speakers Heike Hoffmann and Theresa Seidl. The workshop focused on how to deal with customers and staff, and how to convey emotions in dialog. The participants agreed that in the future, successful sales will not only be based on price, but will also require a certain way of addressing customers.

The workshop was followed by the highlight of the meeting: the factory tour at MORELO. It was particularly important to Robert Crispens to conduct the factory tour in person so that he could respond to the participants’ questions in detail. The state‐of‐the‐art CNC milling machines, the multitude of cutting‐edge technology and the immense number of cables installed in the vehicle particularly impressed the participants. No wonder – while most dealers rent and sell vehicles under 3.5t, MORELO only starts at 5.8t and even ends at 26t – simply a class of its own!

In the evening, the participants explored the cultural side of the nearby city of Würzburg. At the Bürgerspital Würzburg, the young entrepreneurs learned more about the different wines of the region, as well as the history and origin of the wines, accompanied by a matching 4‐course menu.

On Thursday, the second part of the workshop was still on the agenda. Here the topic „Selling with emotions“ was deepened once again in some role plays. After the workshop lasting several hours and a joint lunch, the first young entrepreneurs’ meeting in 2023 came to an end.

The next young entrepreneurs’ meeting will take place in the fall – then again at a young entrepreneur’s trading center.
