A successful start to the year – the season opens with record results.
Jandelsbrunn/Stuttgart – 22. January 2017. There are many paths to success. The team from Knaus Tabbert was also extremely successful at this year’s CMT holiday exhibition. The company from Jandelsbrunn once again reported significant gains over the nine‐day event. On average, year‐on‐year sales increases were in the solid double‐digit range. The camper vans performed particularly well because Knaus Tabbert also presented very attractive models in this segment with the SAINT & SINNER study based on the VW Crafter, and the SAINT & SINNER production model based on the proven Ducato. However, motorhomes and caravans also experienced a welcome and significant sales boost.
The event itself also reported growth with 235,000 visitors, many of whom visited Hall 5 (camper vans) and the exclusive Knaus Tabbert Hall 2 (motorhomes and caravans). This was also reflected by the keen interest among customers. „We are keeping our foot firmly planted on the accelerator. Sentiment is exceptional, we have the right products and services, and customers are in a buying mood. Compared with the same period last year, we achieved very pleasing increases in sales every day‟, says sales and marketing director Gerd Adamietzki of the sensational trade fair performance. Chairman Wolfgang Speck adds: „The Stuttgart trade fair is an important bellwether for the coming season and the industry as a whole – and we have had a breath‐taking start. For us, the outlook is extremely positive and we want to achieve further growth this year.‟
This year’s industry event also saw Knaus Tabbert display plenty of new models, such as the KNAUS SPORT with its large panoramic Skyroof window over the front seating area. TABBERT unveiled the ROSSINI FINEST EDITION – a fully‐equipped premium caravan. WEINSBERG once again generated an enthusiastic customer response, particularly with the Caravan CaraTwo and the partially integrated CaraCompact EDITION [PEPPER] motorhome. There were additional offers for our customers from the on‐line fan shops of KNAUS, TABBERT, WEINSBERG and T@B, as well as the successful RENT AND TRAVEL service, which makes caravanning very straightforward for newcomers in particular.
