Moving forward together towards a better tomorrow – for the environment and the people who love it.

Holidays in a motorhome, caravan or camper van are inextricably linked with outdoor experiences. Environmental protection and sustainability are both a commitment and a matter of course for Knaus Tabbert. On the one hand, it is about producing resource‐conserving and sustainable vehicles, and on the other, using innovations to help bring low‐emission vehicles to the road in accordance with the latest environmental standards.

We are working hard to make the recreational vehicle of the future even more lightweight, quieter, safer and more environmentally friendly. In our research and development departments, more than 100 employees work with new materials and technologies.

What we do

  • At each location, we have sensibly taken the environment into account. The Jandelsbrunn head office, for example, has its own biotopes to compensate for our production areas in the Bavarian Forest and is characterised by an environmentally friendly construction method.
  • Every employee is continuously trained in environmental awareness, energy efficiency and occupational safety. In addition, in their teams, the employees jointly assume responsibility for safe and environmentally friendly production.

Social responsibility

Social responsibility is an integral part of Knaus Tabbert’s company philosophy. We are closely connected with the regions in which our factories are located. In Bavaria’s Jandelsbrunn, Mottgers in Hesse, Schlüsselfeld in Upper Franconia and in Nagyoroszi, Hungary, Knaus Tabbert is one of the largest regional employers and offers career opportunities to anyone looking to launch their career, or for seasoned professionals with many years of relevant experience. We support a healthy work‐life balance and, as a responsible employer, promote the health of our employees. Mutual respect, openness and fairness are self‐evident in daily interactions.

Knaus Tabbert has sponsored regional sports teams for many years and is committed to social institutions. For example, at the Jandelsbrunn site Knaus Tabbert cooperates with „Wolfsteiner Werkstätten‟, a regional institution for people with disabilities, with which we cultivate a socially inclusive employment policy. For example, small components that are used for vehicle manufacturing are made here.
